RECEPTION AND AWARDS CEREMONY

EXHIBIT OPEN 

March 11 - March 14 at The Lowe Art Museum

Free and Open Admission to the public

 

SPECIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY: 

·         A digital image of the artwork must be submitted online (.jpeg format, maximum file size 2MB)

·         Artwork must be titled

·         Artwork must include school name, full name of student, grade, category of submission and teacher’s name, email and phone number.   

·         A maximum of five (5) pieces per teacher may be submitted. 

·         Artwork must be two dimensional and fall into one of the following categories:

o   Painting (oils, acrylics, watercolor, brushwork) 

o   Graphics (drawing, pastels, oils sticks, printmaking) 

o   Mixed Media 

o   Photography 

o   Digital Art 

·         Artwork must be no larger than 18”x24” and no smaller than 8”x 8” before matting. 

·         Artwork selected for display must be unframed and white matted.

 

IMPORTANT DATES: 

January 21, 2026   Deadline for submitting digital artwork

February 12, 2026   Notification of results to teachers

February 28, 2026   Deadline to drop off qualifying artwork at the Lowe Art Museum

March 11, 2026   Student Art Showcase Awards Reception, 6pm to 8pm

March 11 – 14, 2026   Student Artist Showcase – All Finalists’ artwork will be displayed at the Lowe

March 19 – April 2, 2026   Artwork pickup, 10am to 4pm, Lowe Art Museum
